ABOUT ME

I am a professional photographer for 56 years. It started as a hobby, developed into journalism, and turned into art.
When I first studied the Solarization process at Gevaert-Agfa in Belgium at the end of the 60's, the endless possibilities of manipulating colors fascinated me. While the camera is my paint brush and the world my muse, the dark room (and later on the computer) is my color palette.
I photographed wars while serving in the IDF; I photographed historical events while accompanying Prime Minister Begin to his visit to Egypt where I met Egyptian President Saadat and presented him with my work of his portrait. However nothing excites me more than stopping time with my camera and giving my own interpretation to the moment in time with different colors. On October 2016 I presented my work in the Chanan Rozen Museum of Israeli Art Ramat Gan. It was my second exhibition, the first one being in July 1970.
